These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Grubbin AI mobile application ("App") provided by PLAYRIOT LLC ("we", "our", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

Grubbin AI is a meal intelligence app that uses artificial intelligence to help you manage your pantry, discover meal ideas, and create grocery lists. The App is provided "as is" for personal, non-commercial use.

2. AI-Generated Content

Meal suggestions, ingredient identification, and recipe parsing are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. You should always:

Verify ingredient identifications before consuming food
Check for allergens independently, especially for household members with severe allergies
Use your own judgment when following cooking suggestions
Not rely solely on the App for food safety decisions

We are not responsible for any adverse health effects resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.

3. Subscriptions

Grubbin AI offers a free tier with limited features and optional paid subscriptions ("Grubbin Pro") that unlock unlimited access.

Free Trial: New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period.
Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial period if not canceled.
Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Management: You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings or through the App.
Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policy.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
Use automated systems to access the App's AI features beyond normal use

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and content, is the property of PLAYRIOT LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. Recipes and meal suggestions generated by the AI are provided for your personal use and may be shared freely.

6. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services (Google Generative AI, OpenAI, Instacart) that are subject to their own terms of service. Your use of Instacart for grocery ordering is governed by Instacart's terms and conditions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PLAYRIOT LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

Errors in AI-generated ingredient identification or meal suggestions
Allergic reactions or adverse health effects from following AI suggestions
Loss of locally stored data
Interruption of App services

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. The App is not a substitute for professional nutritional, medical, or dietary advice.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
